据Cointelegraph 8月4日消息,在其更新的金融产品和服务政策于昨日全面生效后,谷歌再次允许加密货币交易所和钱包服务的广告商推销产品。据悉,广告商必须在金融犯罪执法网络(FinCEN)注册为 "货币服务企业,并在至少一个州作为货币传送者,或联邦或州特许银行实体",且不允许为1CO、DeFi交易协议或促进购买、销售或交易加密货币做广告,也禁止加密货币广告链接到承载 "加密货币交易信号、加密货币投资建议、聚合器或包含相关内容或经纪人评论的联盟网站"。另外,名人的加密货币代言也被禁止。
据悉,谷歌早在2018年6月就禁止了加密货币和首次代币发行(1CO)相关的广告。此次谷歌的加密货币广告政策修订在6月首次提出,规定针对美国消费者的 "提供加密货币交易所和钱包的广告商",如果符合特定要求,可以为其服务和产品做广告。此举将为谷歌母公司Alphabet提供额外的销售额,尽管加密货币广告可能只是该公司1470亿美元广告收入中的沧海一粟。
