According to BlockBeats, on August 29, GMGN data showed that the market value of Trump Digital Gold (GOLD), the Meme coin of the Solana ecosystem, plummeted by more than 95% within one minute, and its current market value has fallen to $1.8 million.
This meme coin, using the narrative of "Trump Digital Gold," was posted by the official Twitter account @realtrumpcoins1. This account specializes in promoting and selling official collectible coins/medals related to Trump and is an official partner of The Trump Organization. Due to the lack of further details, the community widely questions the authenticity of this meme coin, and there is suspicion that the official Twitter account has been hacked.
Community members cautioned that the apparent connection between the project and the website/link does not equate to official confirmation, citing Eric Trump's previous statement that "nobody is issuing cryptocurrency, or it's a scam," and urged people to wait for clear endorsements before taking action. The Chinese and multilingual communities generally advised against blindly following FOMO and urged people to "wait for confirmation before considering anything."

According to Beating AI, Cursor co-founder and CEO Michael Truell stated that OpenAI has announced plans to block Cursor users from accessing OpenAI models in three months. Truell indicated that OpenAI models currently account for approximately 5% of Cursor's user traffic, and Cursor is in communication with the OpenAI team to resolve this issue.
Truell stated that Cursor was one of OpenAI's earliest users, and the two companies had collaborated for many years. Cursor had always trusted OpenAI to use its platform as a "neutral infrastructure" service. This change in the partnership comes as Cursor faces the dual pressures of increased competition in the AI programming tools market and model vendors building their own applications.
As previously reported, two weeks after SpaceX completed its $60 billion acquisition of Cursor, OpenAI announced the end of its nearly four-year partnership with the company. New models will no longer be integrated with Cursor, and direct supply of existing models is scheduled to cease on November 12, 2026. The contract between the two companies allowed OpenAI to terminate its contract after the Cursor acquisition. OpenAI's statement this time is almost entirely directed at Elon Musk. It claims that Twitter violated its contract with OpenAI after Musk acquired it; and that Musk also admitted in court this year that xAI had improperly used OpenAI models.
