JPMorgan executive: Tokenization will transform ETFs and the entire fund industry, but it will be years before good use cases emerge.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that Ciarán Fitzpatrick, Global Head of ETF Products at JPMorgan Securities Services, stated, "We believe tokenization will definitely drive market change, not only for ETFs but for the entire fund industry." Fitzpatrick pointed out that given the numerous benefits tokenization can bring, such as easier creation and redemption, "near-instant settlement," and uninterrupted access, experimentation with ETF tokenization is still ongoing. He added, "I think tokenization will become part of the ETF ecosystem, but it's still a few years before we see some truly good use cases." (The Block)

This address began taking large long positions in HYPE at the end of October last year and currently holds 1.38 million tokens (worth $56.82 million), with an opening price of $38.675. In January of this year, when HYPE fell to around $20, this address repeatedly deposited margin to avoid liquidation. Due to the long holding period and large size of the position, its funding rate per HYPE reached $2.107 million.
