As interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies is beginning to grow again, Princeton University has decided to reboot its free online class helping users separate “fact from fiction” about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The 11-week-long class is set to begin on January 6th with another session beginning on January 21st and is open to the public with over 9,000 students already signed up. Some of the topics covered included Cryptographic building blocks (“primitives”), Bitcoin’s consensus mechanism, Bitcoin mining, Regulation issues, and Altcoins and the crypto ecosystem.
