@quinby_john Tether is also directly invested in energy and Bitcoin mining, but the key point is that they are just utilizing the dollar to accumulate Bitcoin. It’s no different than MicroStrategy.

MicroStrategy issues convertible notes to buy Bitcoin and thereby generate #Bitcoin yield for shareholders. Tether’s customers send them USD in exchange for USDt, and the USD is then held in USTs, which generates a dollar yield that is then used to buy #Bitcoin.
