PANews 8月10日消息，据Axios报道，美国参议员伯尼·桑德斯致信OpenAI首席执行官Sam Altman、Anthropic首席执行官Dario Amodei及Meta首席执行官Mark Zuckerberg，敦促领先人工智能公司暂停AI开发，并警告称，如果企业不采取行动，立法者将介入。桑德斯表示，为维护人类利益，应停止开发人类无法控制的机器；他还援引三家公司此前的相关表态称，如果系统风险无法得到安全控制，就会停止或暂停开发。Axios指出，近期有研究人员利用AI开发新型病毒，Meta、OpenAI和Anthropic也披露了模型出现“失控”行为的事件，加剧了外界担忧。不过，由桑德斯推动的相关AI立法目前在本届国会获得通过的可能性较低。
