PANews 1月9日消息，美国总统特朗普在接受《纽约时报》专访时表示，他已决定提名谁担任下一任美联储主席，但并未透露人选。“我心中已有决定，”他说道，“但我还没有和任何人谈过。”当被问及他的首席经济顾问哈塞特时，特朗普表示“我不想说”，但他称哈塞特“绝对是我喜欢的人之一”。无论特朗普选择谁，下任美联储主席都将接手一个正处于关键时刻的机构，该机构正处于总统为大幅降低利率而发起的空前猛烈的施压行动的中心。预测市场Kalshi显示，凯文·沃什当选美联储主席的概率目前为41%、凯文·哈塞特为39%，克里斯托弗·沃勒12%。
