AI-Powered Crypto Risk Assessor Particula Raises $5.5M, Moves Headquarters to US
Particula, a company specializing in AI-driven risk intelligence for digital assets, has announced a $5.5 million funding round. The investment was led by SixThirty Ventures, Vanagon Ventures, and Futury Capital, with participation from several other venture firms and angel investors.
Particula describes itself as a leading rating provider for digital assets, transforming complex on- and off-chain data into actionable insights across technical, economic, governance, and compliance dimensions.
Particula's platform analyzes various factors, including issuer credibility, asset backing, regulatory compliance, and smart contract security, providing independent, data-driven risk ratings. The company states that its insights are already being utilized by major financial institutions, leading issuers, and trading facilities.
In a strategic move to capitalize on the evolving regulatory landscape and deepen its engagement with institutional clients, Particula will also be relocating its headquarters from Munich to the United States. The company said it anticipates clearer regulatory frameworks and increased institutional participation in the digital asset space within the U.S., making it a critical market for its growth. This relocation aims to position Particula at the center of shaping risk intelligence standards for the future of digital finance.
Timm Reinsdorf, CEO of Particula, stated the company's commitment to setting new standards in digital asset risk intelligence, emphasizing security, scalability, and transparency in the tokenized future of finance. Chandresh Iyer, general partner of SixThirty Ventures, highlighted the multi-trillion-dollar opportunity in tokenized traditional financial assets and Particula's role in bridging the gap between DeFi and TradFi by offering scalable risk rating and monitoring.
Jens Schleuniger, managing partner of TX Ventures, emphasized the exponential growth in tokenized assets, particularly in the fund sector, and Particula's solution as crucial for institutional investors to confidently assess and invest in digital assets amidst regulatory uncertainty and compliance risks.
