Bitwise received over $100 million in funding for each of its four product lines in the first half of the year, with net inflows exceeding $1.8 billion.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Bitwise CEO stated in a post on the X platform that in the first half of this year, despite the bear market environment, investors poured over $1.8 billion into Bitwise products. Specifically, ETFs/ETPs, private equity active and Alpha strategies, staking, and vaults each saw inflows exceeding $100 million. Bitwise comprises over 150 people from the finance and technology sectors. He stated that these individuals could have pursued other careers but wanted to contribute to this turnaround story within the crypto industry. The Bitwise team hopes the crypto industry can change the world and recognize the efforts of many participants. He emphasized that Bitwise is not a player in the industry; its role is to support the ecosystem and help investors participate in emerging opportunities. He also expressed gratitude to everyone who entrusts their investments and assets to Bitwise, stating that the team enjoys this work.

According to HyperliquidNews monitoring, as reported by Odaily Planet Daily, stablecoin inflows this week have exceeded $668 million, marking the third-highest weekly inflow in stablecoin history. The Ethereum blockchain USDC contract address 0xa0b...eb48 accounts for 97.98% of this inflow. AQAv2 will use 90% of the revenue generated by this USDC to buy back and burn Hyperliquid's native tokens.
GANA Foundation withdraws; Eiden Liu announces personal compensation plan.
According to BlockBeats, on August 24, due to the withdrawal of the original GANA Foundation, Eiden Liu announced that he has withdrawn from the original foundation and will launch a compensation plan in his personal name, taking the initiative to assume the relevant compensation responsibilities, with the goal of striving to achieve 100% compensation.
It is understood that the first phase of the compensation plan is expected to involve approximately 20,000 addresses. Subsequent verification will be based on real on-chain data, and compensation will be paid in batches. The overall compensation period is tentatively set at 2-3 years.
Eiden Liu stated that although the foundation is withdrawing from the public eye, its responsibilities will not be shirked, and it will continue to take concrete actions to fulfill its related responsibilities.
The Iranian parliament approved charging service fees for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
According to BlockBeats, on August 24th, Mehr News Agency of Iran reported that Hassan Kashkawi, spokesman for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, announced on Sunday that the committee had adopted Article 3 of the "Strategic Action Plan for Ensuring the Security and Development of the Strait of Hormuz." Hassan Kashkawi stated, "According to this article, we will charge fees for the provision of maritime services, environmental services, fuel supplies in special circumstances, insurance, security, and other services." These fees will be collected from vessels of relevant countries authorized to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and will be paid in rials or other currencies designated by the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Hassan Kashkawi pointed out that the rights of the littoral states of the Strait of Hormuz must be taken seriously. We should not forget that international laws and regulations, in addition to recognizing freedom of navigation, also emphasize respect for the security and sovereignty of the littoral states and prevent infringement upon these rights.
