The notice also states that failure to submit the declaration by August 20 may result in the suspension of investment-related services; failure to submit by September 12 may result in the termination of investment-related services. In response, a spokesperson for HSBC Hong Kong told Jiemian News, “We comply with relevant regulatory requirements when managing investment client relationships.
