TrustSwap is a distributed platform, cryptocurrency and protocol that promises a new evolution towards decentralised finance (DeFi). It aims to do this with next-generation multi-chain token exchanges and other features designed to address existing issues of split payments, subscriptions, and cross-chain token exchanges. 
TrustSwap describes its mission to power "customizable transactions" applicable not only to the DeFi space but to the crypto industry as a whole. Launched in Canada in July 2020, the platform aims to bring smart contracts into the mainstream.

Jeff Kirdeikis and Adam Barlam lead the project as CEO and CTO respectively. The CEO is also the founder of Uptrennd, a media platform that harnesses the power of blockchain technology. Kirdeikis also runs a successful crypto-currency-focused group on Facebook with more than 150,000 members.
