The first phase of the invitational testnet was launched on July 20, 2020 and lasted for 2 weeks; the second phase of the public testnet was launched on August 7th and lasted for 4 weeks, and participants will be rewarded with SCRT tokens;

Former Enigma MPC employees established the non-profit organization Secret Foundation to fund and guide the development of Secret Network; Romulus was upgraded, and Secret Network underwent a hard fork at block 1,794,500. This upgrade renamed the original enigma address prefix for secret;

Enigma changed its name to Secret Network;

Enigma launched its mainnet on February 13, 2020;
