Energi aims to bring cryptocurrency to the world.
Cryptocurrencies are a revolutionary new technology that brings enormous scope to monetary freedom. However, even after 9 years, the adoption of cryptocurrencies is only 0.5% of the world population. Our goal is to introduce and bring cryptocurrency to the masses. We intend to create a strong foundation first - with a treasury system much larger than any other cryptocurrency currently available.
This treasury is decentralized, with masternodes voting on where the funds go. This allows Energi to pay developers and contributors, and as Energi grows, our budget will increase, allowing for more collaborations, which leads to more growth, etc. It's a positive feedback loop . Also, we have a higher rate of inflation because we encourage consumption and reinvestment. Energi will seek to utilize all of our treasury budget on a monthly basis, especially in the first few months of our existence, and identify the highest value activities and best contributors who will get the greatest return in system value addition, rather than spending the value of. We will identify and encourage those activities that give us the absolute greatest value for the money we spend. Our philosophy is that every dollar invested in the system, when properly invested with developers, best marketing efforts and other expenditures that expand our reach, can yield far more than a dollar in return.

Unlike anything in the cryptocurrency space, Energi seeks to retain thousands of full-time contributors and function as a strong global organization. Energi will continue to expand its marketing efforts, development and ease of use to rapidly increase demand and adoption.

Energi Mobile Wallet tentative release schedule - Designed to be as easy to use as Venmo and Cash apps, synching with phone contacts and making Energi payments easy for users and merchants. There will also be an extension to enable one-click conversion between Energi and Energi Gold (staboins set up in Energi, such as Maker's DAI, are linked to Gold prices). After the Completion of the Energi Mobile Wallet, we will begin a major campaign to promote Energi in the countries/regions where it is most needed.

The third quarter of 2020
Energi will begin incorporating the most influential blockchain projects and dApps into the Energi platform. Energi will also begin providing grants and support through our Incubator program to support what we have identified as the most powerful upcoming DApps in this space.
Q1 2020
Energi 3.0 released - Energi has been rebuilt as an Ethereum-adapted smart contract platform, compatible with applications written for Ethereum. This major update implements almost all of ethereum's functions, while integrating our vaults, master nodes and governance systems. Energi will begin to adopt existing Ethereum infrastructure, such as MyEtherWallet. This upgrade also enables DApps to migrate to the Energi ecosystem so that they will benefit from Energi Defense (Cyber Security), our incubator and other extended services.

Rounds 2, 3 and 4 of NRG will be released at the same time after the review process is completed.

Expand marketing efforts to raise awareness of Energi and expand the community. (In progress) Public testing of Energi 3.0 begins - significant additions to the functionality and capabilities of Energi to make it useful in real-world environments. This is our most important update since launch. Earndrop round 2 and 3 entries have been completed. Round four begins. Due to high demand, the fourth round is expected to be completed soon.
Q2 2019
Energi 3.0 is still under development - more than 50% complete. Energi Core began working on Energi X, a fee-free futures exchange that trades with rival Bitmex, with NRG as its main trading pair. Energi X is a major undertaking and will be one of the main focuses of Energi in the coming years. By itself, it could drive major demand for NRG and greatly enhance Energi's capabilities both in the cryptocurrency exchange space and as a cryptocurrency platform in general. There is no firm expected release date, but it is tentatively scheduled for the first quarter of 2021.

Optimized GPU miner and mining pool software. Earndrop rounds 2 and 3 began. Energi 3.0 development begins.

Master node live! Masternode awards begin on September 18, approximately 5 months after release, to ensure equitable distribution and provide ample time for community members to accumulate. Earndrop completes the first round. Distributed over 1 million NRGS and gained over 70,000 online social media!

Master nodes and governance systems that have been implemented. Energi 1.0 Mainnet launched on April 14, 2018!

Testnet and Block Explorer online. Optimized and improved the technical and economic aspects of Energi.
The fourth quarter of 2017
Energi hash algorithm was implemented (anti-ASIC hash algorithm, similar to Ethereum). Implement warehouse and backbone reward system.

Pre-developed: Designed coins for launch and distribution to miners, master nodes and Treasury as well as other basic designs. Development began in July 2017.
