Colony is a community-driven accelerator that morphs into a DAO to facilitate Avalanche's ecosystem growth. Supported by governance tokens: $CLY. 

Colony will deploy funds in Avalanche's early projects, provide liquidity for DeFi protocols, maintain an index of top Avalanche projects, and validate the network with stacking capabilities. 
 Our open governance ensures that capital is allocated in the Avalanche ecosystem only for its own benefit. The real support and value generated by Colony investments is returned to the community through airdrops, buyback mechanisms, and pledge rewards. 


Colony provides an incentive base for new applications on Avalanche's platform with a first-of-its kind funding mechanism. It combines the power of traditional venture capital and blockchain-based communities with open governance, support and inclusion. Colony's Governance allows the community to leverage its knowledge, actions, and intentions. 
In other words, traditional vc firms are highly centralized and only benefit their LP, which is not entirely consistent with the long-term growth of the ecosystem due to the mismatches between the fund life cycle and the ecosystem. Colony reverses this paradigm: from the outset, it empowers the community with governance and provides strong incentives consistent with the long-term growth of the ecosystem. 
 A first for the entire crypto field. Our inclusive DAO introduced a new concept: ecosystem agriculture. A coin can access the entire ecosystem of development, avalanche. It is almost impossible for ordinary investors to invest in a project while it is still in its early stages.
