Daniel Larimer, also known as BM (Bytemaster), is currently the only person in the world who has successively developed three decentralized systems based on blockchain technology, Bitshares, Steemit and EOS. Daniel Larimer graduated from Virginia Tech in 2003 with a BACHELOR's degree in computer science. He had always dreamed of a free market solution that would guarantee life, liberty and property. He found that to do that, he had to start with free money. He started trying to develop a digital currency in 2009, and that's when he discovered Bitcoin, so he immediately got involved and actively promoted it. Back in July 2010, Dan pointed out that bitcoin's 10-minute transaction confirmation time was too long, and that changing the consensus mechanism would allow for faster confirmation times. He then co-founded Block.One with Brendan Blumer and others, and developed the largest ICO project ever, the blockchain operating system EOS.
