AVA is the original token of the Travala ecosystem. It uses the BEP-2 contract format and AVA is available for payments, membership rewards, discounts, giveaways, and more on Travala.com. Travala, on the other hand, is a travel booking site that offers discounts when users use cryptocurrency to pay for trips.

Steve Hipwell &ndash; Co-Founder &amp; COO &ndash; Linkedin With over 10 years experience in the online travel space, Steve is responsible for managing Travala.com&rsquo;s day-to-day business operations. As Chief of Operations, Steve manages Travala.com&rsquo;s operational processes to ensure an outstanding customer experience and that the company has all the necessary operational and financial procedures in place.
Caleb Yeoh &ndash; CBDO &ndash; Linkedin As a former board member of Blockchain Australia, Caleb champions digital currency adoption through thought leadership and speaking events. Previous companies include Deloitte, Origin Energy, BHP Billiton and Shell. Caleb focuses on the development of the business through building relationships in the industry, identifying opportunities, and completing key business deals.
Drew Currah &ndash; CFO &ndash; Linkedin As a CFO, Drew is responsible for managing the financials of Travala.com. His primary duties include financial planning, tracking cash flow, financial risk management, financial reporting and proposing corrective actions. In the past, Drew founded his own online home services marketplace and worked with the De Beers Group and Christopher Guy in financial strategy capacities. He is also a CFA charterholder.
Kent Pham &ndash; CTO &ndash; Linkedin Being an executive leader for Technologies and Operations, Kent is responsible for outlining Travala.com&rsquo;s technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that technological resources meet the company&rsquo;s short and long-term needs. 2020 Q1 Search Optimisation &ndash; Improvements to be made to our search function to allow users to easily find destinations, hotels, landmarks, addresses, areas, states, countries, and islands. Filters Optimisation &ndash; Our search page filters will be significantly improved allowing users to find their perfect hotel selections within a matter of seconds to give a user experience on par with the best travel sites in the world. Loading Speeds &ndash; When it comes to loading speed, a fraction of a second makes a big difference and users expect, and demand fast loading times so we will be improving loading speeds to optimize UX and conversion rates. Mobile Website &ndash; We see Mobile as the future and we will be launching a custom mobile-first version of the website that will occupy its own domain. A mobile-first development approach will also be adopted. Production Release &ndash; This is our Maldives release and what we will class as Travala.com being ready to go out to mainstream consumers. Before this can happen Search optimisation, filters optimisation, loading speeds, content optimisation, new high profile travel suppliers and the mobile apps and mobile version will all need to be completed. AVA Partial Payments &ndash; Allowing our users to pay partially with AVA will increase the utility of AVA and also the number of bookings so, as requested by many of our users to date, we&rsquo;ll also be deploying this new functionality.
