The short positions in Bitcoin/Ethereum, initiated yesterday, saw the price drop to around 78600 and 2430 last night, with the potential downside. While there has been some recovery and rebound, the strength is weak, and upward pressure remains significant. On the 4-hour chart, after last night's large bearish candle, the price is currently consolidating with small-bodied candles and extremely low volume, indicating a slowdown in short-term downward momentum and a consolidation or hesitation phase. On the daily chart, the large bearish candle almost completely engulfed the previous large bullish candle, forming a bearish engulfing pattern, suggesting a possible short-term trend reversal. Technically, the DIF and DEA lines are still above the zero line, but the DIF line has moved downwards and is approaching the DEA line. The MACD histogram is showing a continuously shrinking positive value, indicating weakening bullish momentum and a risk of a death cross in the short term. The weak rebound after the 4-hour decline has formed a continuation pattern, with the price currently hovering around the moving averages, still facing resistance at 2470-2480 and the psychological level of 80000. Trading suggestions: Continue shorting Bitcoin around 79600-80000, with a target of 77000-78000; continue shorting Ethereum around 2460-2480, with a target of 2350-2400.
