According to Odaily, Shana Bautista, Global Head of Investigations and Intelligence at Polymarket, stated that Polymarket has developed a system to identify unusual trading activity and will continue to block US users from using its international platform in accordance with the settlement agreement reached with US regulators in 2022. Polymarket plans to launch a new website to publicly disclose the operational details of its market integrity review mechanisms, including machine learning, blockchain analytics, and transaction monitoring, and has already transferred more than 100 cases to law enforcement.
Polymarket has an abnormal transaction detection system in place to address irregular transactions related to the US midterm elections.
