According to two sources familiar with the matter, SpaceX has agreed to acquire Cursor for more than $50 billion. Cursor is a rapidly growing artificial intelligence startup focused on developing code-writing software. SpaceX is making this deal as it prepares for what could be one of the largest IPOs in history. Founded in 2022, Cursor has raised more than $3 billion and has made headlines as one of the fastest-growing AI startups. SpaceX previously stated that Cursor had granted SpaceX the option to acquire Cursor for $60 billion, or SpaceX could choose to pay $10 billion for the results of their collaboration. (Reuters)
