Dapps are Decentralized applications or distributed applications. Compared with familiar apps, DApps do not rely on iOS and Android systems to develop, but are placed on the blockchain system and combined with smart contracts. Different dapps may use different underlying blockchain development platforms and consensus mechanisms, or issue their own tokens, or use common tokens based on the same blockchain platform.
