OKX releases its 40th Proof-of-Restoration (PoR) release, with reserve assets including BTC and ETH reaching $26.8 billion.
Huoxun Finance News, February 23 – According to official news, OKX has officially released its 40th Proof of Reserves (PoR). This release shows that the reserve ratios for all 22 major cryptocurrencies disclosed by OKX have reached 100%. Specifically, the reserve ratios for BTC, ETH, USDT, and USDC are 106%, 103%, 109%, and 101%, respectively. Based on the prices on the verification date, the total value of the four reserve assets is $26,802,436,131. OKX is reportedly the first cryptocurrency exchange in the industry to achieve over three consecutive years of PoR releases. During this period, OKX has consistently released PoR monthly, increasing the number of disclosed cryptocurrencies from 3 to 22, and continuously upgrading its PoR system through technologies such as Merkle trees, full-view Merkle trees, and zk-STARK, committed to increasing transparency of user assets.
Bitdeer responds to Bitcoin sale plans: Liquidity reserves for land acquisitions
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Bitdeer stated that its decision to sell Bitcoin was to reserve liquidity for several non-binding land acquisition opportunities and will not affect the overall market. The company also stated that its computing power will continue to grow and it will continue to mine Bitcoin for shareholder benefits. Previously, it was reported that Bitdeer had liquidated its Bitcoin holdings.
An address has a 25x leveraged long position in ETH, with a position value of $28.44 million.
According to Onchain Lens monitoring, a newly created address (0x4cBC...3447) deposited $1.5 million USDC into Hyperliquid and opened a long position in ETH with 25x leverage, with a position value of $28.44 million.
Erik Voorhees spent $20.38 million to buy back 9,911 ETH, which he had sold for $33.94 million a year earlier.
According to Lookonchain, Erik Voorhees (@ErikVoorhees), an early supporter of Bitcoin and founder of ShapeShift, is buying back ETH. A year ago, Voorhees (0x095...32fc) sold 11,616 ETH at $2,922, worth $33.94 million. Recently, he spent 20.38 million USDC to buy back 9,911 ETH at $2,057.
Ethereum spot ETFs saw net outflows of $123 million last week, marking the fifth consecutive week of net outflows.
According to SoSoValue data, Ethereum spot ETFs saw a net outflow of $123 million last week (February 16th to February 20th, Eastern Time). The BlackRock ETF (ETHA) experienced the largest net outflow last week, with a weekly net outflow of $102 million. ETHA's historical total net inflow has reached $11.88 billion. This was followed by the Fidelity ETF (FETH), with a weekly net outflow of $7.88 million. FETH's historical total net inflow has reached $2.47 billion. The 21Shares ETF (TETH) saw the largest net inflow last week, with a weekly net inflow of $688,000. TETH's historical total net inflow has reached $17.09 million. As of press time, the total net asset value of Ethereum spot ETFs was $11.14 billion, with an ETF net asset value ratio (market capitalization as a percentage of Ethereum's total market capitalization) of 4.68%. The historical cumulative net inflow has reached $11.52 billion.
