The Ethereum Foundation used AI to uncover vulnerabilities: successfully discovering security flaws, stating that human review remains irreplaceable.
BlockBeats reported on July 11 that the Ethereum Foundation disclosed that its protocol security team used an AI agent to conduct vulnerability discovery in Ethereum client software to improve network security. During the testing, the AI successfully discovered a vulnerability in the Gossipsub message propagation protocol that allowed a remote attack to trigger a node program crash, causing validator nodes to go offline. This vulnerability has now been patched and registered as CVE-2026-34219.
However, the Ethereum Foundation points out that the biggest challenge for AI is not finding vulnerabilities, but distinguishing between real vulnerabilities and false positives. AI can generate vulnerability descriptions, impact analyses, and attack code, and may also provide seemingly plausible but non-existent problems, thus requiring meticulous verification by security researchers. The Foundation summarizes three common types of false positives: crashes that only occur in test environments, attack paths that cannot be exploited in real-world environments, and invalid proofs in formal verification.
Furthermore, the Ethereum Foundation believes that while AI is currently better at analyzing single code issues, its ability to identify complex attack chains composed of multiple legitimate operations remains limited. These types of attacks are the primary reason for the attacks on numerous cryptographic protocols this year. In the future, the Ethereum Foundation plans to use AI to assist in generating potential attack paths, which will then be verified through a combination of human and automated testing to further improve the efficiency and accuracy of vulnerability discovery.

Citrini Analyst: Nvidia's Rubin Architecture Release May Be Delayed Again
According to a post on the X platform by Citrini analyst Jukan, based on a conference call with experts, the release of Nvidia's next-generation Rubin architecture may be delayed again, to the point that he "can't even rest on Saturdays." Rubin is Nvidia's next-generation AI chip architecture, a successor to the Blackwell architecture, and was first announced at Computex Taipei in June 2024. As of now, Nvidia has not officially responded to the rumors of a delay in the Rubin project. Rubin is considered Nvidia's next-generation AI chip architecture after Blackwell, and its development and mass production progress have been closely watched by the market. Critini Analyst: Hearing that Nvidia's Rubin architecture has been delayed again
According to BlockBeats, on July 11, Jukan, an analyst at Critini Research, stated, "I learned during an expert conference call that Nvidia's Rubin architecture has been delayed once again."

According to Odaily Planet Daily, following the theft of 1.7 million Gate users, security firm Bitrace's on-chain investigation revealed that attackers transferred the stolen funds in multiple installments to the same Newpay user address. This entity, Newpay, is a cryptocurrency payment tool launched by Newpay Guarantee. Its predecessor was Xinbi Wallet, a non-KYC payment tool based on the Telegram Bot launched in 2025. After Newpay developed its own application, Xinbipay, this channel was shut down, and users were migrated to mobile applications. Finally, to circumvent regulations, it was renamed Newpay. According to Bitrace's monitoring, since its operation, the entity's total revenue has exceeded 1.6 billion USDT, and its business scale saw significant growth after the collapse of the Huiwang Group at the end of 2025. Following the demise of the Guarantee-linked payment tool, Prince Group, top-tier guarantee platforms such as Newpay Guarantee, Jinbei Guarantee, Dali Guarantee, and Fulilai Guarantee have collectively divided the Southeast Asian market.
