According to Beating AI, Pi's GitHub repository has surpassed 100,000 stars, and the official announcement also teases the upcoming release of Pi v2. Pi is an open-source agent harness and also provides an end-user coding agent.
For the past month or so, Pi has been rewriting the underlying Agent runtime framework. Harness v2 was first proposed at the end of July, focusing on adding task persistence, crash recovery, and multiple execution lanes. This design was just introduced into the official API in early August when the team quickly started Harness v3, redesigning the storage and runtime state. Subsequently, v3 was consolidated into the current unified harness.md file.
The goal of the new Harness is to allow agents to resume from their last safe state even if the process crashes halfway through; multiple agent tasks can also be executed in parallel within the same session history. The current dev branch still has hundreds of commits not yet included in main, and the new Harness is being rapidly implemented.
According to BlockBeats, on September 1st, based on GMGN data, Solana ecosystem's Meme coin USELESS surged over 50% in 24 hours, currently priced at $0.1051, with a market capitalization of $104 million.
Earlier today, "Bonk Guy" reviewed his Meme coin trading performance, claiming he once made over $20 million by trading BONK with $16,000 at 6x leverage. Although he later gave back all his accumulated profits on October 10th, this wasn't his only high-value trading achievement. He stated that in the previous cycle, he also increased his low-to-six-figure funds to over $5 million to $10 million through trading Meme-related coins such as DOGEGOV, MAGA, and Roaring Kitty.
Unipcs also stated that its current bullish sentiment towards USELESS is even stronger than when it traded BONK in 2023, and believes that USELESS previously rose from a market capitalization of approximately $4 million to $450 million in a non-bull market environment, and could see an even greater increase if it experiences its first true bull market in the future.
According to BlockBeats, on September 1st, Elon Musk stated at the G20 summit that he expects artificial intelligence to significantly improve productivity. He predicted that AI will boost the global economy by 20%-30%.
