By the end of 2025, Tether had purchased 8,888 Bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to over 96,000 Bitcoins, and its total gold holdings reached 116 tons.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that Tether purchased 8,888 bitcoins on New Year's Eve 2025, worth approximately $780 million. This transaction brings the stablecoin issuer's publicly disclosed bitcoin holdings to over 96,000. Tether currently allocates 15% of its quarterly profits regularly to bitcoin. Furthermore, Tether purchased 26 tons of gold in the third quarter of 2025, bringing its total gold holdings to 116 tons, ranking it among the top 30 gold holders globally. Paolo Ardoino stated that some of Tether's bitcoin holdings have been injected into its backed joint venture, Twenty One Capital, which will hold 43,514 bitcoins as of January 1, 2026. Currently, Tether's main bitcoin address ranks fifth globally and second among private corporate treasuries.

UniSat: The Runes index has encountered an anomaly; the recovery process is expected to take several hours.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that UniSat has announced on its X platform that it is currently experiencing a Runes index issue, causing an internal Ord instance to unexpectedly exit. As a result, Runes index data updates will be temporarily suspended during system recovery, which is expected to take several hours. UniSat advises users to avoid any Runes-related asset operations or UTXO merging during this period to mitigate potential data inconsistency risks. The team is currently working actively to resolve the issue.
