According to Odaily Planet Daily, LG CNS plans to launch a blockchain service for the stablecoin ecosystem in September, encompassing functions such as digital wallets, transaction processing, fee payment, and on-chain data management. Lee Jung-hwa, head of LG CNS's blockchain department, stated that wallets are the most important infrastructure in the stablecoin ecosystem, and those who control wallets and fiat currency inflows and outflows will occupy a crucial position in the future. LG CNS has previously accumulated CBDC and deposit token-related technologies through its participation in the Bank of Korea's "Project Hangang," and has verified various on-chain settlement models in experiments.

There, victims download fake mining platforms, sign contracts authorizing the transfer of funds using the contract's asset transfer permissions. Throughout the process, scammers avoid mentioning sensitive terms like "investment" or "financial management," packaging the scam as "staking mining with idle computing power," claiming zero risk and stable returns, and enticing victims to increase their investments with small initial returns. Currently, most victims are young people seeking side hustles; over 30 people have been known to have been defrauded of more than 3 million yuan, with the largest single loss exceeding 300,000 yuan. Victims are located across multiple regions of China.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Korea announced that the revised enforcement order of the Specific Financial Information Act, aimed at strengthening the regulation of the crypto industry, has been approved by the State Council. The new regulations will strengthen the review of the qualifications of major shareholders of exchanges and require that the debt ratio of exchanges not exceed 200%. Previously, the Travel Rule only applied to transactions exceeding 1 million won; now it will cover all transfers, removing the minimum amount. For transactions on overseas exchanges and personal wallets, differentiated controls will be implemented based on risk levels. The new regulations also require exchanges to equip themselves with professional personnel and necessary equipment, and establish internal control systems; existing exchanges will be granted a one-year grace period. Some provisions will take effect on August 20th, while the Travel Rule and related content will be formally implemented six months later.
