According to Odaily, online brokerage Robinhood reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.62 and revenue of $1.31 billion in the second quarter, exceeding Wall Street expectations and setting a new record high; its stock price fell 4% in after-hours trading. Robinhood's second-quarter crypto trading revenue declined 38% year-over-year to $100 million, partially offset by increased activity in options, equities, and prediction markets. The company has launched Robinhood Chain in Europe for tokenizing U.S. stocks and has also launched an Agentic Trading AI tool that automates investment while retaining user control.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Hawkins County Commissioners in Tennessee passed a ban by a vote of 12-0, prohibiting the establishment, construction, installation, expansion, and operation of cryptocurrency mining facilities and data centers in unincorporated areas of the county. The commission had previously passed a similar ban in September 2025 to prevent digital asset company ExoticRidge from conducting mining operations in the area, and in January, it passed a resolution confirming its relevant rights. ExoticRidge and Hawkins County officials proposed a settlement in January, allowing the company to build and operate facilities under noise restrictions. The proposed terms require that A-weighted decibel noise at the property boundary not exceed 80 decibels for more than 30 minutes within any four-hour period. A Tennessee law signed in April has already made the use and installation of cryptocurrency ATMs and self-service terminals illegal, effective July 1st, with restrictions targeting incidents of residents using these devices to transfer money to scammers.
