According to Odaily Planet Daily, XRP Ledger developers have submitted a draft amendment called "AMM Swappable Curves," which plans to introduce three types of switchable curves for XRPL's native automated market maker: constant product, centralized liquidity, and StableSwap, with a programmable Smart AMM to be added later. This upgrade aims to allow liquidity providers to choose a more suitable pricing curve based on asset type, thereby improving capital efficiency. Centralized liquidity is suitable for trading pairs where most trading is concentrated in a specific price range, while StableSwap is more suitable for assets with near-1:1 exchange rates, such as stablecoins or pegged assets. Existing AMM pools will continue to use the current constant product model and will not require migration. This proposal is seen as an important step for XRPL to address its shortcomings in DeFi infrastructure. Currently, there are over $3 billion worth of tokenized real-world assets on the XRPL chain, including the recent tokenized US Treasury bond redemption pilot completed by Ripple and JPMorgan Chase. However, to enable these assets to be traded, lent, or generate yield more efficiently, a more mature DeFi liquidity infrastructure is still needed. However, the proposal is currently in the draft stage and will need to go through the XRPL amendment voting process, which could take several months, and its final passage remains uncertain. According to Odaily Planet Daily, Ethereum reserve companies SharpLink and Solana reserve company Forward Industries will be included in the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 indices following the FTSE Russell annual rebalancing, expected to take effect when the US stock market opens on June 29. SharpLink currently holds 868,699 ETH, worth nearly $1.8 billion, making it the second-largest listed Ethereum reserve company after Bitmine. The company stated that inclusion in the index will increase its institutional visibility and help attract funds tracking the index. Forward Industries is currently the largest listed Solana reserve company, holding approximately $585 million in SOL. The company believes that inclusion in the index will help it drive its long-term strategy of "increasing holdings per SOL share." FTSE Russell data shows that approximately $12.2 trillion in assets are benchmarked against the Russell US Index. This adjustment is also seen as the first time a non-Bitcoin crypto reserve company has entered the major Russell index system, meaning that index investors will indirectly gain exposure to ETH and SOL. Through this integration, users can use natural language commands to perform token exchanges, fund transfers, and interact with Base ecosystem applications within AI tools that support the MCP open standard. Supported AI interfaces include Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. Base MCP will act as a secure gateway between the user's Base account and the AI interface. Initially, it will connect applications such as Morpho, Bankr, Moonwell, Avantis, Aerodrome, Virtuals, and Uniswap, covering scenarios such as lending, swapping, perpetual contracts, new token issuance, and AI agent issuance.
