RBC Capital initiated coverage of Dell with an "Outperform" rating, believing the company will continue to benefit from the multi-year AI infrastructure investment cycle and noting that its supply chain capabilities constitute a competitive barrier. Dell currently has over 6,500 AI server customers, with Q2 AI server revenue reaching $16.4 billion, a 100% year-over-year increase, and a backlog of $95 billion in AI server orders at the end of the quarter.

As cloud vendors such as Oracle continue to increase their investment in AI infrastructure, Dell is becoming a major beneficiary of this round of AI capital expenditure expansion.
