A major whale's $72.15 million long position in HYPE is facing liquidation, triggered at $47.6.
According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, Ember Monitoring reported that a whale's long position of 1.38 million HYPE tokens (approximately $72.15 million) is only 9% away from being liquidated, with the liquidation price currently around $47.6.
According to HTX market data, HYPE is currently trading at $52.1, down 5.04% in the last 24 hours.
A whale holding 1.38 million HYPE long positions for 8 months currently has a floating profit of $18.8 million, close to the liquidation price.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, monitoring by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, multiple institutions have unstaking and sold HYPE, causing HYPE to drop from $72 to $52 in the past month, a decrease of 28%. A large whale held 1.38 million HYPE long positions, worth $72.15 million, with a current liquidation price of $47.6, approximately 9% below the current HYPE price. This position had been held for eight months without being closed, experiencing a floating loss of $26 million at the end of January and a peak floating profit of $47.46 million in June, currently still showing a floating profit of $18.8 million. The price is close to the liquidation price because a significant amount of floating profit margin was previously withdrawn.
US Treasury Secretary says it is tracking Iranian assets globally

The Munich Regional Court ruled that AI music generation app Suno infringed on copyright.
BlockBeats reported on August 1st that, according to Reuters, a German court ruled on Friday that AI music company Suno infringed on copyright and must disclose its illegal revenue. This is part of a broader legal battle between artists and publishers against tech companies.
The Munich regional court ruled that Suno had no right to handle songs by artists represented by Gema, the German statutory licensing authority. The ruling is appealable to a higher court, and Suno would be required to pay damages of an undetermined amount.
Michael Saylor: BIP-110 is no longer able to reach the 55% voluntary support threshold in the current Bitcoin mining difficulty cycle.
According to BlockBeats, on August 1st, Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated that in the current Bitcoin difficulty adjustment cycle (946 blocks mined by block 960,561), only 24 blocks set the BIP-110 support flag in the version field of the block header. All miner signals come from DATUM miners sharing rewards through OCEAN. Signals from outside OCEAN are zero. The 55% voluntary threshold for this cycle is mathematically unattainable. This is not miner consensus.
OCEAN has made the BIP-110 signal the default for its existing endpoints. The BIP-110 guide directs node operators to use Bitcoin Knots and miners to use DATUM. Regardless of the intent, BIP-110 has effectively become a vertically integrated marketing campaign for Knots and OCEAN/DATUM.
Prior to block 961,632, BIP-110 was voluntary. From blocks 961,632 to 963,647, its software rejected all blocks that had not been signaled. Any "100% signal" displayed during this window was merely a result of rule enforcement, not voluntary support from miners or Bitcoin consensus.
