Pharos Network has reported the establishment of the RealFi Alliance, a strategic ecosystem program that aims to centralize institutional asset issuers, financial infrastructure providers, and onchain builders on a standard basis of execution. The relocation is an important milestone towards the creation of an integrated supporting infrastructure of real-world assets and institutional-grade finance on blockchain rails.
Pharos is placed between traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems as an inclusive Financial Layer 1 serving RealFi. The alliance is a collection of infrastructure leaders, asset originators and yield platforms to establish a common base of operational readiness in tokenized finance.
Building the Infrastructure Layer for Real-World Assets
In its essence, the RealFi Alliance is about aligning the global leaders in the three primary verticals, which include infrastructure and assets, network and access, and yield and market distribution. Through the coordination of these pillars Pharos aims to minimize fragmentation in tokenized asset markets and give institutions a more direct way to go onchain.
According to Pharos, the initiative is an approach of guaranteeing a standardized implementation, safe settlement, and liquidity that can be scaled to real-world assets. The larger ambition involves the provision of production-scale infrastructure that is capable of facilitating institutional capital movement and preserving the effectiveness and clarity of blockchain systems.
Infrastructure and Asset Partners Join the Alliance With Pharos
One of the first infrastructure and asset collaboration is Centrifuge, a platform with a reputation of bringing real-world assets on a blockchain and opening access to decentralized credit markets. Centrifuge has been keen on empowering asset managers to tokenize structured credit and other financial instruments using the blockchain infrastructure based on Ethereum.
Other members of the infrastructure and assets category include Asseto Finance that is developing a compliant platform to integrate traditional financial assets with decentralized finance systems. Asseto focuses on improved security, liquidity, and yield opportunities to investors via systematic tokenization systems.
Network and Access Layer Anchored by Oracle and Interoperability Leaders
The access and network layer of the alliance encompasses some of the biggest blockchain infrastructure providers. Chainlink fits as the oracle service platform that the industry uses as the standard and provides external data feeds and secure cross-chain connectivity, the foundational support of many protocols of decentralized finance. In tokenized markets, trustworthy data infrastructure is essential in pricing, settlement, and risk management.
LayerZero, which is concerned with cross-chain messaging and transfers of assets, supports interoperability. The LayerZero company tries to broaden the scope of tokenized assets by means of communicating across networks not just within one blockchain setting.
The access layer also constitutes wallet and connectivity solutions. TopNod enters the alliance with the emphasis on easy-to-use wallet infrastructure bridging the gap to real-world value in Web3 applications.
Yield and Market Distribution Platforms Expand Liquidity
The RealFi Alliance consists of a number of platforms involved in issuing tokenized assets and collecting returns on the yield side and the market side. Ember Protocol is an investment and infrastructure platform that is involved in the launch and access to both traditional and onchain financial products through crypto markets.
R25 comes together on a mission to tokenize high-yield real world properties that are to drive emerging and disruptive sectors.
The final layer of completion is the completion of yield layer Faroo that drives Pharos Network with liquid staking and real-world assets yields. Faroo aims to release liquidity on the mainnet and increase returns on the ecosystem to enhance capital efficiency on the network.
Toward Operational Readiness in RealFi
With assets originators, oracle providers, interoperability protocols, wallets, and yield platforms aligned, Pharos makes the RealFi Alliance a concerted effort to reach operational readiness in institutional onchain finance. The project is indicative of an industry trend of tokenisation of traditional financial products without sacrificing compliance and risk management.
