Phantasma is a next-generation messaging protocol that is decentralized, fast and secure, with a focus on maintaining the security and privacy of user information.

Phantasma Protocol is mainly composed of five parts: 1. NEO chain is enabled. The project will adopt NEOX cross-chain protocol and fork from NEO chain into a new Phantasma chain. 2. Smart Contract: It will handle messaging protocols, data storage, tokens, and distribution during token sales. 3. SDK: it enables DAPP creation, initially using c# and then introducing other javascript-like languages. 4. Phantasma relay node: added a second layer of underchain processing to reduce congestion. Distributed content storage. Phantasma uses PoW and PoS consensus mechanisms.

SOUL tokens are the fuel that powers Phantasma, and they cost money to acquire data and allocate storage space through Phantasma.

The Scrypt algorithm ensures that correct results can be calculated only when each element is stored in memory, which ensures the hard requirements for a large amount of memory from the algorithm level, thus increasing the operation cost.

Phantasma runs on top of encrypted wallet addresses, initially using NEO chains. Has a wallet private key, and therefore owns everything stored in the wallet. Since everything is encrypted and there is no private key, no one can read or steal your private key, even Phantasma developers can't access it. Anyone can use Phantasma to develop their own Dapps. 3. Users can own their own game assets, weapons, tools, vehicles, animals, modules and achievements -- all permanently stored on the chain and completely controlled by the user. Phantasma uses a variant of PoS that requires users to become verifiers (block producers) on the network. As a reward producer for their contribution as a block, each block producer receives a portion of the transaction fee. Block producers use the rotation schedule of each side chain to define who the active block producers are. This process of each side chain occurs in parallel, which will allow horizontal scaling to improve Phantasma's theoretical TPS. Each block producer is responsible for accepting transactions from Phantasma users, verifying signatures and transaction content. Once a transaction is accepted, the block producer adds it to the next block. 2. Phantasma provides a next-generation method governance system by introducing on-chain technology that eliminates the need for forks and improves on other known weaknesses. 3. The main function of Phantasma smart contracts is for messaging protocols. Smart contract systems also handle content storage and token transactions as network fuel. Phantasma Smart NFT was created with the unique concept of NFT metadata divided into ROM and RAM. Smart NFT ROM data is immutable and cannot be changed by anyone after creation. Here, developers and artists can store the core features of their creations without worrying that someone might tamper with it or alter it in any way. 5. Distributed Content Storage: Phantasma Data File System (PDFS) is a distributed data system that will serve as a storage backend for Phantasma DApps. Users (running Phantasma nodes) can further contribute to the network by running full PDFS nodes. 6. Relay nodes: To create an architecture that can properly handle data exchange tasks in a decentralized manner, relay nodes will exist on their own outer chain layer between the NEO blockchain and all Phantasma blocks. The goal of including an unchained layer is to facilitate faster delivery of encrypted content.

The initial maximum supply of SOUL was initially set at 100,000,000 pieces and the annual inflation rate was set at 3%.

Phantasma allows you to deploy unlimited side chains and publish SDKS so that anyone can develop their own Dapps using Phantasma. 2. All user content is encrypted so that even Phantasma developers cannot access it.

Users can earn money by pledging SOUL, and the incentive system for DAPP developers has been established.

Ben Armstrong's view: Phantasma takes NFT injection or fusion (e.g. creating CryptoKitties) to a new level. Phantasma is at the forefront of being able to serve popular video games if they start using NFT.

Although cross-chain functionality between Neo and Ethereum is not yet fully implemented, Phantasma supports three-chain interoperability between Phantasma and Neo and with Ethereum. Predictably, innovative models and platform features will open the way for future growth.
