FACET

Facet is a new generation of secure, decentralized, and low-cost blockchain computing platform. Facet represents a new blockchain extension paradigm and is expected to replace all traditional L2 as a whole. Facet is currently built on Ethereum and all transactions are Ethereum transactions. By changing the interpretation of these transactions and data, Facet allows you to use Ethereum at an extremely low cost (around 1/10th of the cost) without sacrificing Security and decentralization. It effectively overcomes the shortcomings of traditional Rollup scheme sorters such as centralization, downtime, and weak censorship resistance. Facet and the DA layer are loosely coupled. With the continuous prosperity of market demand and ecology, it can be easily deployed to all mainstream L1 public chains. At the same time, through the integration of protocols such as BTC BRC20 with the same technical origin, Facet has created a new and easy-to-implement path for cross-chain and multi-chain interoperability, and is ultimately expected to become a supercomputing platform that integrates full-chain assets and DAPP.

$Facet is an inscribed asset fairly issued and operated by the community. Facet inscription assets can be split into fungible (FT) tokens that are compatible with the ERC-20 standard across domains to the Facet main network through the Facet bridge. Inscription assets, FT assets, and NFT assets can be issued on the Facet platform.

The mission of the Facet community is to promote and spread the Facet protocol, apply it to various fields such as DeFi, GameFi, SocialFi, etc., and advocate this new paradigm change movement. This mission reflects the Facet community's firm commitment to promoting the development and popularization of the protocol, as well as its positive attitude towards leading a new round of technological innovation.
