Anyone who campaigned on the PROMISE of REDUCING SPENDING , but continues to vote on the BIGGEST DEBT ceiling increase in HISTORY will see their face on this poster in the primary next year https://t.co/w13Qkm2e1A

: "I promise to not raise your taxes" and "I promise to not cut your benefits" are the two popular political promises that are inconsistent with the much more needed promise "I promise to cut the budget deficit to about 3 percent of GDP" that is required to prevent a big debt/dollar crisis. There is no way that the deficit/debt bomb problem can be sustainably dealt with unless there is a mix of tax revenue increases and spending decreases that are determined in a bipartisan way. Our representatives in Washington, DC, both Republicans and Democrats, know this is true. They understand the need to reduce the deficit by having those from both sides chip in a bit (e.g., a 4 percent increase in tax revenue and a 4 percent spending cut) which would lead to a supply/demand balance improvement for US debt which in turn would lower interest rates. Lower interest rates would help reduce the budget deficit as well as help the markets and the economy. B

But because politics have become so absolutist, they feel they can't go down this obviously best path because both their constituents and their parties will throw them out of office if they explored this more balanced approach. To me, that’s a tragedy.

: 🚨🇺🇸 THE $5 TRILLION PROOF THAT AMERICA NEEDS A THIRD PARTY Elon is right. When Congress passes the biggest debt ceiling increase in history, something is fundamentally broken. Senator Rand Paul exposed the uncomfortable truth: This bill adds $270 billion to the deficit next year while raising the debt ceiling by $5 trillion. That astronomical number isn't just spending, it's an admission that both parties have given up on fiscal responsibility. The cycle is predictable and soul-crushing. Republicans campaign on smaller government, Democrats on helping working families. Both get elected, both feed the same machine. The debt explodes, the establishment wins, Americans lose. This isn't about attacking conservatives who voted for this bill, it's about recognizing a system that forces good people into bad choices. When the only options are Big Government Party A and Big Government Party B, the deep state wins by default. Pol

This isn't about attacking conservatives who voted for this bill, it's about recognizing a system that forces good people into bad choices. When the only options are Big Government Party A and Big Government Party B, the deep state wins by default. Polling shows 60-70% of Americans desperately want a viable third option. They're exhausted by the uniparty theater where corporate donors pull the strings while the national debt becomes a generational curse. The America Party isn't just a protest vote, it's a liberation movement. A chance to break the stranglehold of special interests and give power back to actual people. When both parties fail this spectacularly, a third way isn't radical. It's necessary. Source: Reuters, NYT, The Guardian, Fox

@RonPaul:
As was easily predictable, all the carrots they hung on the "Big Beautiful Bill" to get House Republicans to vote on it have been stripped from the Senate version. The only thing remaining is the massive increase in debt. As usual, Thomas Massie was right. Will the final vote saddle Americans with this bankrupt albatross? Watch @RonPaul & @DanielLMcAdams below:

If that’s true, why the $5T debt ceiling increase? The only reason for a five trillion dollar debt ceiling increase is to increase national debt by five trillion dollars! Obviously. End of story.

@MarioNawfal:
🇺🇸 SEN. RAND PAUL: CONSERVATIVE? NOT WITH A $5T DEBT CEILING "We have to judge the effects of the big, not-so-beautiful bill by looking at what happens to the debt next year. Supporters of the bill admit it adds $270 billion to the debt next year. That's the only thing we know for certain. We don't know what happens in year 3, 4, 5, 6... but we know next year, this bill will grow the deficit by $270 billion. In addition, the bill increases the debt ceiling by $5 trillion. What does that mean? That is an admission that they know they aren't controlling the deficit. They know that the ensuing years will add trillions more. So we're adding $2 trillion this year, but they're anticipating adding more than $2 trillion next year. That doesn't sound at all conservative to me." Source: @Acyn
